Blog / An intimate wedding in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

I was thrilled to be a part of Abi and Richard’s special day in September.  We met at Richard’s Grandmother’s farm earlier in the year and I was so happy to have them book me.  I was with them for a short day, so I arrived at the magnificent church in Drinkstone, Bury St Edmunds to meet Richard and his groomsmen.  Guests arrived and then Abi arrived looking beautiful.  It was a gorgeous service, followed by a reception at the farm in a marquee in the wonderful gardens.  We had some time to do a few relaxed group shots and to take Abi and Richard off for a few couples shots, and I had the honour of photographing the speeches too.  I love the speeches, as more often than not I discover so much about the couple and their family during this time.  This day was no exception and I am sure there was not a dry eye in the house.  It was a wonderful day, and although I was only with them for a short amount of time, it was very special and as always a total pleasure to capture their memories for them.  Many thanks indeed.
