Blog / Village fete summer wedding in Suffolk
This wedding was special in lots of ways.
-It was a wedding, that special of special days. -It was a family I have had the pleasure of snapping before, photographing the fab bride and groom and their gorgeous 3 children…and beautiful dog! -It was at the same reception venue as my wedding! Oh hello blast from the past! (and how was that 4 and a half years ago? How??!)
So it was with much excitement that I set off to photograph April and Louis’ wedding day in August at Little Thurlow Church and Withersfield Village Hall in lovely West Suffolk. This was a glorious day, full of love and fun. I enjoyed it from start to finish, my sister, brother in law and nephews were guests, they got to see me at work and it was fab! April’s dress was stunning, the button bouquet, wands and buttonholes were fab, the vintage corner in the village hall was so lovely with April’s Grandmother’s wedding dress on a mannequin adding to the nostalgia of the day. The summer fete games borrowed from the village were great ice breakers and no one got damaged by flying coconuts thankfully! A fab day, thank you so much for having me there. Huge congratulations, enjoy! R xx
