Blog / September wedding at The Swiss Garden, Shuttleworth | Tracey + Greg
Tracey and Greg had a fabulous wedding day back in September. Yes it really has taken me that long to blog! They had an amazing ceremony at the wonderful Swiss Garden at the Shuttleworth Collection, near Biggleswade. An amazing venue, The Swiss Cottage is a fabulous Regency building set in wonderful gardens. The small venue was intimate and fun, with guests gathered inside and out to see the ceremony.
Tracey got ready at home, and it was lovely to spend this time with her capturing those special moments as she prepared for the big day. After a slight hiccup with traffic, Tracey arrived at the Swiss Garden looking stunning. The ceremony was one of the most emotional I have witnessed, with practically everyone on floods of tears!
Following the ceremony everyone wondered to the gardens where canapes and a bar were set up. We were so lucky with the weather, it was beautiful. We did some relaxed group photos and some laid back couples portraits before heading into Biggleswade for the reception.
It was held at the lovely Georges Hall. A fabulous bar, restaurant and venue in the centre of the town. Emotional speeches and lots of shot drinking took place, before the band started playing for the first dance, following on with lots of dancing and tonnes more evening guests all set to party.
This was a fabulous, love filled day, with two amazing people and their families coming together. If you’d like to know more about my wedding photography, please do take a look here at my wedding page, or just get in touch.
