Blog / Lifestyle and portrait photography for small businesses | East Anglia
I have always loved photographing people in their own environments, and doing lifestyle and portrait photography for small businesses.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the country doing editorial location portraiture for over a decade for national magazines such as Red, Glamour, Grazia, Prima, The Times and S magazine. You can see this work over at my other website here.
Many of the subjects I’ve enjoyed photographing have been small business owners, capturing their products, their environment and crucially themselves for editorial features. I get sent to places, with usually no idea what the place will be like, and I need to get a good selection of images for the picture editor to choose from. I use the environment to create images that represent the person, whilst maintaining a feeling that represents the story (or brand).
I’ve had such great feedback I’ve had from these shoots, I’m thrilled to now be offering this service to the businesses directly. I specialize in small businesses, makers, creatives and independent shops, but I am of course happy to work with anyone to create relaxed, creative images. I’m based close to Cambridge, Saffron Walden and Bury St Edmunds, but work throughout East Anglia and further afield.
I try and keep my pricing options really simple.

You can have anything photographed over this time. You can have a lifestyle session, which consists of portraits, you at work, still life shots of your environment plus product shots. When you contact me, we can discuss what will suit you best, how many products you have to photograph and what the priority is for you. Then we can see if a full day or half day, or several shoots over time will suit you best.
Please do get in touch for more information and to chat through what you need and what could work for you.
