Blog / Gorgeous Manuden Village Hall wedding {part 2}
And so onto the reception at Sam and Scot’s incredible wedding at Manuden Village Hall on the Hertfordshire and Essex borders. You can see the first part here. The wonderful gold, purple, blue and red decorations included gorgeous paper lanterns hung from the ceiling, and incredible flowers by the bride herself, the very amazing Sam of Violets and Velvet. Eclectic, individual vases of sumptuous floral arrangements adorned the long tables, and a beautiful gold themed table positively sagged under the weight of amazing cakes made by friends and family, from brownies the the beautiful naked wedding cake, it was all gorgeous. Guests had fizz and canapes on arrival at the village hall, with food supplied by the fabulous Hand Made Food. Then a delicious meal of pie and mash was served, followed by (lots of) helpings at the cake table! Wonderful speeches followed, with much laughter involved! The icing on the cake I’d certainly say (apart from the obvious magic of the wedding it’s self, and the people, and the venue, oh and the food, oh and the decoration……oh, you know what I mean!) was the Bishops Stortford Ukulele Society arriving, heading onto stage and doing a mind blowing set of covers! The bride and groom had their first dance to the band and everyone utterly loved it! From then on the party continued into the night, with dancing, laughing and a little bit of drinking! Oh and lots of cheese, pickle and pork pie! A wonderful day. So creative, beautiful, heartfelt, honest and true to the couple. My friends got married. And it was incredible. Hope you enjoy xxx
