If you like my photographs, and the feel of my work, then hopefully we’ll embark on an exciting journey together.
The first step is to chat. On the phone, skype, or in person. We’ll discuss your hopes for the day and what I can do to help you along the way. If you decide to book (yey!), I’ll send you a lovely little package with some paperwork in, and a few surprises to boot. From there, you can send back a signed contract, pay the £300 deposit, and you’ll be booked in.
We’ll keep in touch, and I’ll help as much as I can. You’re welcome to pick my brain and get some tips and ideas to help you plan like a boss! If you’d like a couples shoot, we’ll do this at least a few months before the wedding, or whenever suits you best.
Around 8 weeks before, I’ll send you over a Wedding Day Check List. This is a time line of your day, which helps me to know what will happen so I can be in the right place at the right time. It will help things to happen on time so you get all the images you hope for (and more!) My aim is always that you won’t have to worry at all about the day or the photographs, the more info I have, the better I can help. I’ll also send a final invoice for you, which will be due 4 weeks before the wedding.
During the 8 week run up, we’ll chat on the phone, or meet at your venue if possible. We’ll go over your day, iron out any issues, chat logistics and generally get super excited!
On the day I’ll arrive, shoot shoot shoot, and help out with anything you need. (I’ve been known to pin button holes on, pour the fizz, help with the veil, deliver messages – anything that’s needed I’ll do!) You’ll have an amazing time, and you literally wont notice me stalking you and your guests all day!
After the wedding, I go home, back up all the images (twice), and get some kip! In the following weeks I’ll edit all the images (cutting down from around 1500 to 700 or so). I’ll individually check and tweak each one, making sure they are fresh, bright and as fabulous as possible.
Between 2-4 weeks, depending on my schedule, I’ll send you an email saying that “Yey” your package is on it’s way, with all it’s loveliness inside! You’ll then hopefully drop me an email (or call me and scream down the phone…in a good way!) and say you love them and that they have made you cry (again, in a good way!)
From here, you’ll to choose your album images (I always suggest doing it as soon as you can. If it’s left too long, it can get forgotten and these lovely photos feel sad if they don’t get let out of the computer!) Once you’ve approved the design, all that’s left to do is to wait on tenterhooks for the album to arrive. And hey presto, your beautiful memories are there in a stunning album which will be a fabulous heirloom to pass down for generations. Amazing!
We’ll hopefully keep in touch. Maybe a 1 year anniversary shoot? Maybe a new puppy shoot? Maybe even a baby…who knows! But we’ll keep in touch, I know we will.
